ABOUT THE CITY

Doral City is evolving highly and is known by excellence as the City of Golf. It is situated just one mile from Miami International Airport. Doral City has been incorporated to Miami-Dade-County as one of its 34 towns. It has a population of 29,687 residents with a 63% Hispanic ones. The city counts with a big number of both ublic and private schools as well as some charter schools. Doral City is illustrated as a leading place to live and work for its better-quality of life and major developments. A little bit more than 30% of Doral is now residential and is considered as one of the biggest bangs in that regard. Real Estate in Doral City is climbing higher than ever.

“HISTORY”

It is known that 20 years ago, Doral City along with the Airport West nearby area was a large number of unoccupied lots and cow grassland. But as soon as the expansion started, this ground turned into a city with three different and valuable levels. Industrial warehousing was the first reputable step to take place and it was followed by offices and soon after by residential. Doral now is considered one of the most highest rising market for new single family homes and Real Estate. And it has the biggest warehouse in the county too. However, Doral roots can’t be denied or forgotten. In 1950, Real Estate pioneer Alfred Kaskel along with his wife Doris acquired 2,400 acres of flood land to build a hotel and a golf course. By 1962 the couple’s dream turned into reality. A country club and a hotel were released and, with the mixture of their names, Alfred and Doris, they named it Doral.
